Hello there! I'm Kendra Brott, an art teacher by day and a student at night. I am currently working on my second masters degree in School Counseling at Oregon State University. I have developed and taught four online classes. CoolSchool offers my very first course, Drawing. I live in Eugene, Oregon, with my husband Patrick, our cat Jinx, and beagle puppy Karma.

I love to travel and have made it a goal to go to a new country every two years, or as many times as my pocketbook will allow. I've taken students to see the treasures of Italy, and Mayan ruins of Mexico. I've been to France, Germany, Fiji, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Currently, I'm planning a trip to Australia. Discovering what art looks like in its true environment is much more interesting than books!

Ever since I could pick up a crayon, I've been doodling on whatever I could find...walls, Bibles, tables, etc. Sometimes it got me in trouble, but I guess that was just part of the fun! Teaching is embedded in my family and so is the love of it. So getting paid to do what I love wasn't a hard thing to do. This June, I will be going back to school for a masters in School Counseling at Oregon State University.

I found I love dabbling in all mediums, but here are some of my works of art. The pieces below were created by me. Other examples can be found on my Web site. Art is an outlet of excess energy for me. My work doesn't belong in a gallery but would better fit book illustrations or a CD cover.
