On page 67 you have eight English words for which you must find three answers: Latin cognate; the meaning of the Latin word; and the meaning of the original underlined English word.   Answer the three questions in the penultimate paragraph.   Last, define in English, please: digital, alumnus, locus, papyrus, terminus, mucus, radius, tumulus, stimulus, virus.

I would like to introduce you another Latin poet, Catullus. Here is one of his poems:

Odi et amo. Quare id faciam, fortasse requiris.
nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior.

Translate it.

(Hint: you can also peek at the English translation of the poem. Warning! The English translations there are not literal. I want literal translations, word for word in acceptable English.)
