Chapter IV
Minerva et Arachne (Pars Secunda)

Review

Look over your corrected version of the story in Chapter III. Remember that the story in this chapter is a continuation of the story in Chapter III. Take some time to check your mistakes, if any, and read my comments when you do get your translation back. Figure out what you did wrong and why, if you did anything wrong, and then go on, if you have not already done so.

Magistra Note

This is a long and complicated chapter. Please go through it slowly, reading my comments first and then referring to the text. I do not follow the strict numerical Structure Sequence in the discussions below, so be careful.

Remember that it is really best to do one or two parts a day than to do everything at once on a weekend. You will remember ideas better if you repeat them daily. You should be going over all of your vocabulary daily. Use your vocabulary cards while you are waiting for someone, or if you can't get to sleep at night, or during commercials if you watch TV, or whenever you have an idle moment, if you have such.
