About Course

This art history course is designed to introduce you to the world of art, from the very first artists who walked the earth to the modern masters. In this course we will learn about different cultures and their art forms. Projects and quizzes are based on these art works.

In this course you will be required to use e-mail, participate in discussions, take quizzes, and submit work electronically or by snail mail. Please see the assignments for this class below.

This is a self-paced course. You may enroll in this course at any time during the year. You have 10 months from the date you start the course to finish, unless your face-to-face school restricts you to a shorter time. There is 90 hours' worth of content in this course; equivalent to one 18-week semester. A timeline is laid out for your and your advisor's convenience. It is very important that you do not leave many assignments to the end of the course. This course is worth 0.5 credits.

For specifics on grading, please check Grading.
